With a fun sense of humor, developer Josh Holtz calls Otter “the world’s newest most okayest RSS reader with a high key adorable otter icon!”Īs noted above, the goal of An Otter RSS Reader was a minimal RSS reader with solid functionality.
Please recontact so we can investigate the cause of this problem.A sharp looking new RSS reader option has launched called “An Otter RSS Reader.” Key features include a minimalist design, iOS and Mac widgets, iCloud sync, an adorable icon, and as you’d hope, it’s a universal app. Please support this developer and product. Responses from the dev are quick, helpful, and friendly. No third party account is needed (uses iCloud for syncing). With two very reasonable, non-subscription purchases, I have News Explorer running on EVERY Apple device I own. This, quite simply, the best RSS news reader I have ever seen. I have no idea what happened but this clean, efficient app simply does not work any longer on my iPhone, iPad, or iMac. I tried EVERYTHING I could find on the dev’s website and nothing.
It also cause some websites to think I was a robot trying to access the site and force me to solve a captcha just to read an article. The app would lock up and I would have to force quit. Sometimes I would let it go for an hour and it would not sync my feeds. UPDATE: I finally had to delete this app from all my devices because it simply began refusing to sync. Something happened and it simply stopped working
